Customizing the Results Flowsheet View
To view order test results in the sequence or detail as your practice prefers, select Short Description, Long Description, and Nextgen Description to display from the Views Labs list. To display lab results in alphabetical order, select the View Results Only check box. To display lab results in categories such as CBC or chem. 7, do not select the View Results Only check box. For more information on the Orders module, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the Orders Module User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For quicker access to the Orders or Immunizations functionality, from the Initial View list, select one of the following Orders or Immunizations tabs to display when you open the Orders module: Results Flowsheet Orders Summary Immunizations - Chart Immunizations - Recommendation Parent topic: Orders Preferences

Customize the Initial Tab View in the Orders Module
When you open the Orders module, the Results tab appears by default. You can set up a user preference to display a different tab as the default. For more information on Orders user preferences, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Layout and Preferences Guide for NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Main menu, select Tools > Preferences. The Preferences window opens. In the General tab, under the Orders section, in the Initial View list, select one of the following: Results Flowsheet Orders Summary Immun - Chart Immun - Recommendation Immun - Registry Select Apply and then OK.
