You can create and modify a device record.
- Open the Implantable Devices window.
A collapsed list of devices appear.
- To update the status of a device.
- Select Modify Device next to the device you want to modify.
The
Modify Implantable Device window opens.
- In Device Placed, select the date that the device was placed.
- In Device Status, select a status.
- In Note, enter a note that explains the reason for changing the device status, or provides more details about the device.
- Select OK.
The updated Device Status appears. The Notes section tracks all changes to the Device Status.
- Select a device record to expand the record.
All the data for the selected record appears.
- In Device Placed, select the date that the device was placed.
- If the device was removed, enter the date in Device Removed.
- To add a note, select Notes

A note field is added to the window with your user name to indicate that you created the note.
- To modify a note that you created, select the field, and then edit the text.
Note: You cannot change a note that you did not add.
- To delete a note, locate the note that you created, and then select Delete.
Note: You cannot delete a note that you did not add.
- Select Save.
The record moves to the top of the list. Each note displays the name of the user who created it and the date and time the note was modified. When there are multiple notes, the notes appear reverse chronological order.
