Mark that a Patient does not have Documented Immunizations
Select the
Immunizations
tab. For example, you are determining if a new patient has a record of documented immunizations.
If the patient has no documented immunizations, the
No Known Immunization History
check box appears on the
Chart
view toolbar.
Confirm no previous immunizations were administered.
If no immunizations were administered, select the
No Known Immunization History
check box.
Close the Orders module.
For reporting purposes, when the CCDA is generated, it displays that the patient has no known immunizations.

Patient's Documented Immunizations Do Not Display
If a new patient has received previous immunizations and the system displays the No Known Immunization History check box on the Chart view toolbar, this scenario may occur due to the following: The patient’s Immunization vaccine series is not marked complete. The patient’s immunizations are administered in another practice, which is not configured to share immunization records with other practices in the enterprise. Add a Patient's Immunizations Documented in Another Practice
Scenario: A patient’s previously administered immunization are documented in another practice. However, the enterprise does not share immunizations records across practices. Therefore, the immunizations do not display on the Chart window. Note: For enterprises that choose to not share chart information, Enterprise Chart is set to Disabled. Select the Immunizations tab. The No Known Immunization History check box displays on the Chart tab toolbar. To document the patient’s immunizations, select one of the following options on the Chart tab toolbar: Historical: Add or Update Historical Immunizations. Exclusions: Document an Immunization Series as Complete. After you complete the patient’s vaccine series or update the immunizations history, select Save. The system no longer displays the No Immunization History check box on the Chart tab toolbar. Continue with the immunization administration process, if necessary. Mark a Vaccines Series as Complete to Verify Documented Immunizations
Scenario: A patient has received immunizations in another practice but does not know the dates of the immunizations. Select the Immunizations tab. To mark the previous immunizations as complete, select Exclusions. Select Series Complete and select the vaccines to complete the series. To save your changes, select Save & Close. For reporting purposes, you can indicate that a patient has no record of receiving immunizations. When you select the Immunizations tab, if the patient has no record of receiving immunizations, the system displays a No Known Immunization History check box on the Chart tab toolbar. To confirm that no immunization records exist, select the No Known Immunizations History check box. If a patient has received immunizations, the No Known Immunization History check box does not appear on the Chart tab.
