Disable Incomplete Orders Notification

NextGen® Enterprise EHR displays a notification message when you have incomplete orders in Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and you do any of the following:
  • When you close the patient chart.
  • When you select a different patient while the current patient chart is open.
  • When you close the NextGen® Enterprise EHR window.
  • When you sign out from NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
You can disable this notification in Tools > Preferences.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select Tools > Preferences.
    The Preferences window opens.

  3. Select the General tab.
  4. Clear the Prompt when closing chart with incomplete items in orders check box.
  5. Select Apply and then select OK.
