Workflow Module Tabs and Sections

The Workflow module consists of the following tabs and sections: Section Description Navigation tabs Tabs appear at the top of the window to access Clinical Tasking, Appointments, Email, Patient Portal, Provider Approval Queue, and Message Manager View. Some tabs may not appear if the function has not been enabled or configured. An exclamation point indicates that there is new content in the tab. Note: The current tab opens automatically when you access the Workflow module next time. Preview pane Displays the details for each workflow item. Appointments Displays information about the present day appointments for the selected provider. Workflow item details Content in this section is dependent on the workflow item you have selected. Toolbar Contains functions, dependent on the tab and item you have selected. Daily Appointments Section

The Today's Appointments section of the Workflow module enables you to view the current date's appointments for one or more selected providers. The Today's Appointments displays the patient's name, scheduled time, reason, room number, and status of the appointment for one or more selected providers. Open the Orders Module from the Appointments List

You can access the Orders module from the appointments list for the selected patient. Select an appointment in the appointments list. Select Orders in the toolbar. The Orders module and patient chart for the selected patient opens. Parent topic: Appointments

View Existing Appointments from Appointment Lookup

You can view existing appointments for a patient from the Appointment Lookup window. From the main toolbar, select Appointments. The Appointment Lookup window opens. Enter the Search Criteria to find the existing appointments for the patient. Select Find. The Appointment List section displays the existing appointments for the selected patient.
