To create and track your Immunization orders effectively, NextGen® Enterprise EHR Immunizations module provides comprehensive functionality that is based on how you set up Immunizations in File Maintenance and System Administrator. Each practice has its own unique Orders and Immunizations workflow. As you use the Immunizations module, consider your primary patient type, such as pediatric and your overall workflow. For example, immunizations orders flow may begin with your physician conducting an office visit, selecting immunizations, and then passing the administration of immunizations to the clinical staff. Proper preparation within our system is critical for implementing a successful vaccination program. Record Vaccine Administration Details

You can record administration details of the COVID-19 vaccine in the Immunization module. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. Select or create an encounter from Encounter History. Open the Immunizations module. To create an order, select New. Note: If the selected encounter is not created for that day, a message appears prompting you to do one of the following: To select a different encounter, select Cancel, and then select an encounter from the Encounter History tab. To continue with the currently selected encounter, select No. To create an encounter, select Yes. The Create New Immunization Order for window opens. Select the COVID-19 vaccine from the vaccine inventory. On the Create New Immunization Order for window, select the Vaccine Details tab. Select a lot number from the Lot # list. Generate a Report of Vaccinated Patients

You can use the NextGen® Enterprise EHR reporting tool to generate a report of vaccinated patients that can be used for tracking purposes. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookupwindow. From the File menu, select Reports > Generate Reports > by Practice.The NextGen Report Filter: Patient window opens. Under Settings List, select Orders. To create an immunization report, select Immunization in the Select Order Type list. To find a specific CPT® code for a vaccine, under Select Vaccine, select .The Vaccine Search window opens. On the Vaccine Search window, select a vaccine and select OK. To create a report of vaccinated patients, in the Vaccine Status list, select Include, and Administered.
