Configure the Global Settings

You can set up the dashboard template, referral template, and document format in the Global Settings tab. From NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, select settings icon at the bottom-right corner, and then select Global Settings. The Global Settings window opens. Under Dashboard, enter the dashboard template name. Under Referral, referral template name appears. if required, you can modify the referral template name. Under Document, select the document format from the Format list. Select OK. The dashboard template, referral template, and document format are set up. You can make changes to the user level and global settings using Settings in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. The following columns appear in the patient grid of NextGen Care® Population Management Hub only when they are enabled on the Grid + Data tab of the User Settings window: Insurance Balance Patient Balance Total Balance Next Appointment Date Next Appointment Provider Configure the Global Settings Configure User Settings Configure the display for Cohorts and patient grid. Set up a Template as Favorite

In User Settings, you can set up medical records and demographic templates as favorite that appear in the Chart list, which you can access directly from NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Open NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Select the settings icon. The Settings window opens. On User Settings, select Templates and then do one of the following: To open medical record templates, select Medical Records. To select demographic templates, select Demographics. The Available Templates section lists the templates as per the selected template type. From the Available Templates list, select a template to set as favorite and select Add. Note: You can configure a maximum of ten favorite templates. The selected template appears in the Favorite Templates list. Note: You can also remove a template from the Favorite Templates list and move it back to the Available Templates list. View Dashboard Template

You can view the dashboard template for the selected patient. Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Chart/Recalls/Tasking is set to No, then you cannot access Chart from the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions to Chart in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following: From the Cohorts tab, run a report. From the My Lists tab, run a list. From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients. The patient list appears in the patient grid. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name. From Chart, select Dashboard.
