You can change the status description or color.
 
 
  - In the Appointment Preferences window, select the appointment status to update.
 
  - To change the status description, enter the new description in Status.
 
  - To change the associated color, select the Text Color box to display a Color window, and then select a basic color or define a custom color.
 
  - Choose a color to associate with the status, and then select OK.
 
  - Select Update.
   
    Changes to the appointment status description and color are saved, and added to the list of status.
