Add or Modify Patient Chart Details in NextGen® Enterprise PM

  1. Open the Person Information or Patient Information window for the desired person or patient.
  2. Select the Chart Details tab.
  3. Select from Default Rendering Physician and Default Referring Physician.
    The selected provider defaults as the rendering physician on encounters created from the Patient Chart or Appointment Book in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  4. To exclude encounters in the patient's chart from statements, clear the Print Statements checkbox.
  5. If applicable, enter a response in each user-defined field.
  6. In Marketing Plan, select a chart-level marketing plan for the patient.
  7. In Load these user note descriptions into comment, select a pre-defined note to add to the Marketing Comments field.
  8. In Marketing Comments, enter additional notes about the patient's marketing plan.
  9. If the patient is co-managed by another provider, select the Co-Managed Patient checkbox.
  10. In Co-Managed Physician, select the provider who co-manages the patient.
    This field is available only if the Co-Managed Patient checkbox is selected.
  11. Select OK.
    If chart details are added for a patient without a chart, a message appears stating that the details cannot be saved unless you create a chart.
  12. Select Yes.
