Access Rights to Medical Records
To view, add, update, delete, or print medical information, the applicable access rights must be set in the System Administrator application for Modules Rights/Medical Records. Medical Records rights comprise: Appointment Status Colors Email Graphing Imaging Medication Allergies Medications Orders (lab, radiology, and immunizations) Patient Alerts Patient Appointments Patient Reports Problem List Procedures Superbill If you do not have the applicable permissions, a message appears. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen® Enterprise. You cannot update or delete diagnoses or problems entered by another practice by executing the Patient Diagnosis trigger or Patient Problem trigger. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History tab or create an encounter.
