View the Patient's Problems List

Before you begin

You must ensure that you have the View access right enabled in MODULES > Medical Records > Problem List in System Administrator. For more information on user access rights, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
You can view a quick list of the patient's active medical problems and also open the Problem List tab in the Problems module to add or update the patient's medical problems.
A total count of the patient's active problems appears on the Problems button on the Quick Buttons panel. For more information on the Problem module, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Problems Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. To view a quick list of the patient's medical problems, on the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Problems.
    The Problems table appears displaying a list of the patient's active medical problems, the linked ICD-10 code with HCC indicator, and the last addressed date for each problem.

  3. To open the Problems module, on the Quick Buttons panel, select Problems.
    The Problem List tab in the Problem module opens, where you can add and update the patient's medical problems.
