After you place an order in Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE), the order status appears on the Placed Items list on the CPOE Order Search Bar. You can view the details of your order in the Orders module.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
- Open CPOE.
- Select an order item.
- Assign a diagnosis to the selected order item.
Note: For an immunization order item, Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) automatically adds the default ICD-10-CM Z23 diagnosis code.
- Place the order.
- To view a summary of the placed orders, hover over Placed Items.
A list of the placed orders for the encounter appears.
- To view the details of the placed orders, select Placed Items.
The
Orders Summary window in the Orders module opens.
