View or Update Exported Documents

To view the history of your exports in the Data Share module, you can open the Home tab and expand the Export History pane.

Export History

You can perform the following actions for the Export History pane.

  • To control the relative sizes of the Export History pane and the Search History pane, select the collapse Collapse Pane or expand icon in either pane.
  • To control the maximum number of items displayed on each page or to move to previous or later pages, use the icons at the bottom of the Export History pane.

  • To refresh the data in the Export History pane, select the refresh Refresh icon at the bottom of the pane.
  • To view an exported document, do the following:
    1. Select the date and time in the Export Date column.
      The Exported Item pane opens on the right. You can use this pane to view or update an exported document.

    2. To view the exported document in CDA Viewer, select the document in the Name column.
    3. To update the document, select Create Addendum or Create Replacement.
      The Export tab opens. In the Additional Export Information section, Export As is set to either Addendum or Replacement. In the Export tab, you can fill out all additional options and export the updated document.

  • To start a new export, select New Export in the upper right corner of the Search History pane.
    The Export tab opens. You can use this tab to select patient documents in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and start an export.
