Annotate an Image
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a patient. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History or create an encounter. Open the template that contains the Graphical Exam Tool (GET) component. The GET component window opens. The findings and exam tools are displayed for the selected location and provider in GET component. Note: The GET template can be opened in NextGen® Enterprise EHR without selecting the Reason for Visit. From the REASON FOR VISIT pane, select the reason for visit that you want to attach the finding. To change profile settings, select Settings from the Options and Settings Popup Menu . The Graphical Exam Tool - Settings window opens. Note: To edit profile settings, you must have the Operations Right for Administration > Edit EHR Component Profiles enabled in the System Administrator. Select the tab that contains the image you want to annotate first. The tab for the first image appears by default. Adjust the view or manipulate the image using the image toolbar

Make an Annotation Transparent
Select the Transparent button. Note: Select the Transparent button does not automatically change annotations already available on the image. Do one of the following: Place an annotation on the image. Select an existing annotation. Right-click the annotation and select Properties. The Properties window opens. Properties Select the Transparent check box. Select OK. Work with Annotations and Imaging Components
You can add, edit, or delete annotations on imaging components. Select Annotations and Imaging Components from the Imaging menu. Select an action to perform from the list. action to perform from the list When finished, select Save from the Main toolbar. Parent topic: Working with Images

Update Attributes
In the Attributes section, select the required attribute. Make the necessary changes in Attribute, Type, Description, and Default Value. Select Update. The attributes are updated and displayed in the Attributes section. Select OK. Parent topic: Attributes
