button does not automatically change annotations already available on the image.
Do one of the following:
Place an annotation on the image.
Select an existing annotation.
Right-click the annotation and select
Properties
.
The
Properties
window opens.

Transparent
check box.

Using Transparency on Annotations
You can set an annotation to be transparent. Set an annotation as transparent to display the details of the image behind the annotation. View or Edit Annotation Properties
Right-click the annotation and select Properties. The Properties window opens. If required, change the properties. Select OK. Parent topic: Annotate an Image

Hide All Annotations
If you want to see an image without the annotations, you can hide them instead of deleting them. Hidden annotations do not appear in printed images. Right-click any area of the image that does not have an annotation. Select Annotations and Imaging Components, and then select Hide All Annotations. All annotations are hidden in the image. Also, a check mark appears next to the Hide All Annotations menu item to indicate annotations are hidden. To restore the annotations, right-click any area of the image, select Annotations and Imaging Components, and then select Hide All Annotations again. Parent topic: Adding Annotations to an Image

Add Color to an Annotation
Select an image. The image opens. On the Drawing toolbar, select the Colors button. Colors button Select a standard color or create a custom color. To create a custom color, select the Manage Custom Colors button. The Color window opens.
