Delete Medication Allergy
Before you begin Ensure the encounter that you select to open Medication Allergies module is unlocked. If you need to delete a medication allergy assigned to a locked encounter, you must create either a custom or a new encounter and add a new allergy with the modifications to an existing allergy. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Medication Allergies module for the selected patient. Select the allergy you want to delete from the module grid and select Delete. The Delete Record window opens displaying the confirmation message. Do one of the following: You can select Delete and mark item "Inactive" if you want to make the allergy inactive. You can select Delete and mark item "Entered in error" for an allergy that is incorrectly added by provider. Select Yes to delete the allergy. Select No or close the window to cancel the deletion. You can open the Medication Allergies module and acknowledge drug interactions. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select or create an encounter from the Encounter History tab. To open the Medication Allergies module, select Allergies from the Quick Buttons panel. View Who Changed a Medication Allergy
Each time someone creates or modifies a patient's medication allergies, the application records who made the change and when it was done. You can view who created and last modified a patient's medication allergies. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Select an existing encounter from the Encounter History tab or create an encounter. To open the Medication Allergies module, select Allergies from the Quick Buttons panel. The Medication Allergies module opens and displays the items that the patient is allergic to. Medication Allergies Module Select a medication allergy. Right-click the medication allergy and select Who/When.The Modification Information window displays with the name of the person who entered the allergy into the patient chart, and the name of the person who last modified the selected allergy.
