Access IEM User Rights

For information on how to access NextGen® applications, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Logon Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. Access System Administrator. Select the appropriate practice and user group in the left pane. Select the Rights tab in right pane. Expand the MODULES folder and then the Equipment folder. A list of equipment reports appears. Select a report to view its current rights and procedures. Set the following user rights as needed: Brentwood reports (this category refers to Midmark devices; Midmark was formerly Brentwood Medical.) Welch Allyn® reports (this category refers to Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® devices) Cardiac Science reports (this category refers to Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® devices that were originally sold by Cardiac Science) GE CardioSoft reports Parent topic: IEM User Rights

User Rights for Midmark Reports

The user rights for Midmark reports are stored in System Administrator under Rights > MODULES > Equipment and are named Brentwood ECG Brentwood Holter Brentwood Spirometry Brentwood Stress ECG For Midmark version 10, the only type of permission that has any effect on Midmark equipment is the Add permission. If Add is selected, then the user cannot create reports for the selected Midmark equipment. For Midmark version 8, the rights for viewing Midmark reports follow normal rights and permission guidelines except for the Print permission. Disabling the Print permission for a Midmark report also disables its File > Send by Email and the File > Archive functions with the following exceptions: You can still archive Midmark Stress ECG reports You can still print Midmark Holter Full Disclosure reports Parent topic: IEM User Rights

IEM User Rights

By default, all access rights and permissions for the IEM including individual reports within the IEM are enabled. If required, you can configure these rights and permissions using System Administrator. Setting up rights and permissions for the IEM alone also affects rights and permissions for each report within the IEM. Note: If you disable the View permission for the entire IEM, it also disables access to the IEM for the selected user group and prevents the Equipment trigger on any template from performing an action. View Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® Resting ECG Reports

After ordering a Cardiac Science Resting ECG report, you can view it. In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, load a patient and select a location and provider. Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the IEM grid, select a Cardiac Science Resting ECG Report record with a Test Status of Confirmed, UnconfirmedOnly, or Reconfirmed. Select View Report. The HeartCentrix® Resting ECG report opens. Note: If the system finds a suitable match from information supplied in the Patient Information window, it populates the Race field. Otherwise, the field defaults to "Unknown." Select the HeartCentrix Main toolbar items as needed (functions are dependent on user permissions and view mode). After making any changes, select Confirm to save changes and return to the IEM. For more information on how to use HeartCentrix® functionalities, refer to the appropriate HeartCentrix® user manual. After ordering a Cardiac Science Exercise ECG report, you can view it. Open the Integrated Equipment Module From the IEM grid, select a Cardiac Science Exercise ECG Report record with a Test Status of Confirmed, UnconfirmedOnly, or Reconfirmed. Select View Report. The HeartCentrix® Exercise ECG report opens. Note: If the patient has multiple race entries, then for Cardiac Science multiple race entries, the race is interpreted as Other. If the system finds a suitable match from information supplied in the Patient Information window, it populates the Race field. Otherwise, the field defaults to "Unknown." Select the HeartCentrix Main toolbar items as needed (functions are dependent on user permissions and view mode). After making any changes, select Confirm to save changes and return to the IEM.
