User Rights for Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™

Before you begin Before performing this task, you must have installed the Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ devices. Perform the following steps to create the ngwa user so the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ can communicate with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the Windows Start menu, run Welch Allyn Diagnostic Cardiology Suite. Log in using the username admin and the password admin. In the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ , select the System Configuration (System Configuration) icon.The Welch Allyn Diagnostic Cardiology Suite - System Configuration window appears. Select Users Database.The Users Database pane opens. Select New.The New User pane opens. In Username and Display Name, enter ngwa. In Password and Repeat Password, enter waint. User Rights for Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® Reports

The rights and permissions for viewing Hillrom™ HeartCentrix® (former Cardiac Science) reports follow normal rights and permission guidelines except for the Print permission, which is not available. In addition, the Use EHR user for Cardiac Science login universal preference must be set to True in System Administrator and the NextGen® Cardiac Science Verify component must be deployed on the client's HeartCentrix® server. Access IEM User Rights

For information on how to access NextGen® applications, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest Logon Guide forNextGen®Enterprise. Access System Administrator. Select the appropriate practice and user group in the left pane. Select the Rights tab in right pane. Expand the MODULES folder and then the Equipment folder. A list of equipment reports appears. Select a report to view its current rights and procedures. Set the following user rights as needed: Brentwood reports (this category refers to Midmark devices; Midmark was formerly Brentwood Medical.) IEM User Rights

By default, all access rights and permissions for the IEM including individual reports within the IEM are enabled. If required, you can configure these rights and permissions using System Administrator. Setting up rights and permissions for the IEM alone also affects rights and permissions for each report within the IEM. Note: If you disable the View permission for the entire IEM, it also disables access to the IEM for the selected user group and prevents the Equipment trigger on any template from performing an action. Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Devices Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Devices This section describes how to acquire data and view reports from Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® Workstation 1.6.0 and above software that interfaces with ECG and spirometry devices. Note: Statements in this section apply to both Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ and CardioPerfect® devices, except where otherwise specified. For resting ECG and spirometry devices, the example screen shots are all from Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ . If you are using CardioPerfect 1.6.4 or later with multiple sites, you must ensure to match the site names in the Site Manager setup and the EHR practice. When you perform a test and generate a report, you can also generate and attach a report PDF to the patient's encounter on the Encounter History tab. Import Tests from Welch Allyn®

If a test exists in the Hillrom™ Welch Allyn® Diagnostic Cardiology Suite™ or CardioPerfect® application but not in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can import it to the IEM. This scenario can occur if: The provider is using a Welch Allyn® application before its integration with NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The network is down and the test was recorded locally. Welch Allyn® equipment can send test results to a Welch Allyn® application but not NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
