Custom Reports

Report Filter allows you to generate, view and print custom created reports. Reports could be built for either a specific practice (that you used to logon to the application) or a specific enterprise (that you used to logon to the application). Note: To create and generate NextGen® Enterprise EHR reports, there must be report types set up in File Maintenance. For the availability of report types, refer to your practice's System Administrator. The NextGen® Enterprise EHR Custom Reports use patient demographic information (such as First Name, Last Name, Gender, Address, Date of Birth, and so on) for filtering and pulling specific data from a patient's chart based on custom-build criteria, such as: Template data Diagnosis data Procedure data Allergy data Medication data Laboratory data Parent topic: Create and Use Custom Reports

Save a Report

After you have set up all of the desired Columns, Filters, Data and Options, you can save the report you have built and reuse it later. From the Report Filter, select Save. The Memorize Report window opens. Memorize Report In Save As, enter the name of the report. Note: If you are using NextGen® Background Business Processor to send NextGen® Population Health Solutions patient reminders, ensure that the report name enables you to identify the purpose of the communication when accessing it in NextGen® Background Business Processor, for example, DiabetesPatientRemindersOctober2013. Select the Report Type. Note: Only those Report Types that have been set up in the File Maintenance are available for selection. Refer to your practice's System Administrator in regard to availability of Report Types. Select which users are allowed to run, modify and save the report you have created. Create Memorized Reports

Depending on whether you want to create a NextGen® Enterprise or NextGen® Enterprise PM report, set up the report by defining the columns and filters to produce the desired format and results. Note: If you want to open the NextGen® Enterprise PM reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, then you must ensure to create only the patient level NextGen® Enterprise PM memorized reports. Ensure the report meets your requirements, select Save on the Report Filter. If you want to verify the report prior to saving, run the report. Review the report, and then select Memorize Report . The Memorize Report window opens. Note: Save results for notification does not appear when memorizing NextGen® Enterprise PM reports. In Save As, enter the name of your report. If you are changing an existing memorized report, the original information automatically appears. In Report Type, select a report type. Working with NextGen Care® Population Management Hub Reports

You can run the reports on Cohorts tab and do the following using the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub reports: View a patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise and NextGen® Enterprise PM Generate patient's recall plans for one or multiple patients Create bulk lab or diagnostic imaging (radiology) test orders Compose and send patient messages using NextGen® PxP Portal and NextGen Care® Outreach. Memorized Reports in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub

Reports can be created in NextGen® Enterprise PM using specific filters and qualifying criteria to identify a specific patient population, and then saved as a memorized report. These memorized reports can be accessed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR from the Population Management Hub > Cohorts tab and used to generate a patient list for outreach purposes, such as sending messages via NextGen Care® Outreach or NextGen® PxP Portal.
