You can add the multiple ethnicities for selected patient. The multiple ethnicities appear in a template if the patient chart has multiple ethnicities recorded.
- Select a patient.
- Open the template which has ethnicity details.
The Ethnicity and Ethnicity Order appears in the data sheet.
- Double-click the data grid.
The Ethnicity window opens.
- In the Available Ethnicities section, select the ethnicities, and then select Add.
The ethnicities are added in the
Display these ethnicities in this order section.
Note: The options Not Hispanic or Latino, Other, Unknown, Decline to Specify, and Hispanic or Latino are all independent of each other. If you select one option, the other option is removed by default.
- To the selected ethnicities, do the following as per your requirement:
- To remove, select ethnicity, and then select Remove.
- To rearrange, select ethnicity, and then select Move Up or Move Down.
- Select OK.
The ethnicities are also updated in the Ethnicity field of Modify Patient Information window.
