Track Order Comments
Open your custom practice template with an
Orders Management
order control.
To add comments or view previous comments, select
Tracking
on the toolbar or right-click the order and select
Tracking
from the list.
Note:
If you are using a private or practice filter, you must select the
Tracking
command in the
Display
tab when you set up the filter.
The
Sign-off and Tracking Comments
window opens.
Review any previous comments.
Enter comments.
If you have created My Phrases, select
My Phrases
to select a phrase from the list.
Do one of the following:
To simply save the comments, select
Save
.
If you add comments that require another user or group to perform a task, select Save & Task and select the recipient.

Track Order Comments
Open your custom practice template with an Orders Management order control. To add comments or view previous comments, select Tracking on the toolbar or right-click the order and select Tracking from the list. Note: If you are using a private or practice filter, you must select the Tracking command in the Display tab when you set up the filter. The Sign-off and Tracking Comments window opens. Review any previous comments. Enter comments. If you have created My Phrases, select My Phrases to select a phrase from the list. Do one of the following: To simply save the comments, select Save. If you add comments that require another user or group to perform a task, select Save & Task and select the recipient. Add or View Order Result Comments
You can view and add comments for an order test result. On the Results grid, select a patient’s numerical test result in a Collection Date & Time column. Select Tracking from the Results toolbar. You can view any comments that were entered previously. To add a comment, select Add. Another Sign-off and Tracking Comments window opens, displaying the patient's information. Select Tracking as the comment Type. Enter a comment regarding the order results. If applicable, select My Phrases to select an appropriate phrase. Do one of the following: To simply save the comments, select Save. If you add comments that require another user or group to perform a task, select Save & Task and select the recipient. Set Up the Automatic Order Tracking Comments
Your practice can select the Automatic Order Tracking Comments practice preference to display system-generated comments in the Sign-off and Tracking Comments window for various Orders actions. For example, the system can display comments when an order is sent successfully through an interface or registry. Select File Maintenance > Master Files > System > EHR > Practices > Preferences > Orders Module. Select All tab. Select Automatic Order Tracking Comments. Select OK. Add or View Comments to an Existing Immunizations Order
You can add comments to existing Immunizations order by accessing the Orders module Orders Summary tab. Select an Immunizations order from the Orders Summary tab. Do one of the following: Select Tracking from the toolbar. Right-click an Immunizations order, and select Tracking from the list. The Sign-off and Tracking Comments window opens. Any previous comments dispalys in the window. To add comments, select Add. Select the comment type (Sign-off or Tracking). If you have created My Phrases, select My Phrases to select a phrase from the list. To save your comments, select Save or Save & Task to send the comments to the appropriate user or group.
