Set Up the Order Type and Source View for DM and the PAQ in File Maintenance
- Select File Maintenance > Master Files > System > EHR > Practices > Preferences > Orders Module.
- Select All tab.
- In the Orders / Results Linking section, select Diagnostics/Radiology as the default view.
- In the Order Type and Default Source section, select the following options:
- Diagnostics/Radiology: Orders Module
- Lab Orders: Orders Module
- Referrals: NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Templates
- In the Adaptive Content Engine Order Status Update Upon Sign-off section, select the following options:
- Diagnostics: Result Received
- Lab Orders: Result Received
- Referrals: Completed
Note: When linking a scanned document for a NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine order, the system updates the order status based on the selections the uses makes in the Adaptive Content Engine Order Status Update Upon Sign-off section. - To save your changes, select OK.
