Set up the NextGen Orders Auto Release Utility for Multiple Instances
- Open Orders Auto Release utility.
Note: For quicker access, create Short Cuts on your Windows Desktop for each Instance you intend to set up. For example, if you are setting up three instances, create three short cuts, such as Lab Clinic Region 1, Lab Clinic Region 2, and Lab Clinic Region 3.
- On the Auto Release Form window, in Instance Name, enter the Instance name for the first instance.
- Select the Plus + sign.
The Details window opens.
- In the Practices section, select the practices that are associated with this Instance.
- For Process Time, enter the time the system releases the appropriate Future and Recurring orders for the selected practices.
- Select Add.
The Auto Release Form window opens.
- Select Activate Selected Instance.
If you are not logged into your current practice, the Security Log On window opens.
Log in to continue.
- Minimize the Auto Release Form window.
CAUTION:Do not exit.The Instance icon displays in the Windows® Notification Area/system tray.
- Repeat these steps for each instance you create.
After you activate the instances, your Recurring and Future Orders will release for the multiple instances at the appropriate process times according to your order schedule.
