Insights Viewer Window

Insights Viewer is an expandable side panel that allows you to efficiently access gaps in patient care and plan accordingly in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can view the following components on the Insights Viewer window. This data is provided by the population health patient list. Patient demographics including the name, date of birth, and age. Gaps-in-Care details, such as Past Due, Near Due, Passed, and Failed Gaps using the Critical, Warning, and Info sections. Risk Scores for ACG, HCG and ASCVD. Filter Patient Information

Before you begin The patient should be enrolled in Population Health Sync (PHS) for data to be displayed in the Insights Viewer. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select View > Insights Viewer. The Insights Viewer window appears. Select any of the following indicator filters to display the associated patient score cards. Critical Warning Info All scorecards fulfilling the filter are displayed. Set Up Access Rights for Insights Viewer

You can configure the access rights for Insights under the Insight Operations subgroup in System Administrator to view the Insights window icon on the Quick Access panel in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open System Administrator, and select the user group to configure. Select the Rights tab, and then expand OPERATIONS. Under Insight, select Insights Access. In the Access Rights section, select Yes. By default, the Access Rights is set to No for all user groups. If the Access Rights is set to No, the icon to open the Insights Viewer window is disabled in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select Save. Set Up Access Rights for Care Insights

Viewing Patient Information and Generating Charts

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can search a patient, add or modify patient information, review patient's existing clinical data, and generate age-based growth charts. If your enterprise is enrolled in Population Health Sync, you can access data from it directly within NextGen® Enterprise EHR as well as from NextGen Population Health Analytics Solutions website. You can view available gaps-in-care and risk score data for a selected patient from the Patient Information bar. APSO (Assessment Plan Subjective and Objective) View is a side panel that slides in and out and enables you to see current and previous information of patients. This side panel generates a document in real time. You can also generate pediatric growth charts, growth charts from NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, and growth charts from the NextGen® Enterprise EHR File menu.
