Set Up Allow Patient Procedure Activity against a Locked Encounter

You can set up the Allow Patient Procedure Activity Against a Locked Encounter practice preference to enable the system to send charges to NextGen® Enterprise PM when an encounter is locked. The system only sends charges for a locked encounter for vendors that you have selected to have charges submitted upon final Results Received in the Charge Submission Defaults option.
  1. Select File Maintenance > Master Files > System > EHR > Practices > Preferences > Orders Module.
  2. Select Lab/Rad tab.

  3. Select Allow patient procedure activity against a locked encounter.

  4. Select OK.
