Filter Favorites List by Tags

You can filter the FAVORITES list using user or practice tags. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Open CPOE. Select Favorites. The FAVORITES list appears displaying the order items that are associated with the selected tags. Note: For more information on associating order items to a tag, see Create a Favorite Order Items List. To filter the FAVORITES list by user and practice tags, select the tags from the Tags list. Create User Tags

You can create a user tag and associate it with a customized list of favorite order items. Open CPOE. Select Favorites. The FAVORITES list appears displaying the order items that are associated with the selected tags. Note: For more information on associating order items to a tag, see Create a Favorite Order Items List. To create a tag, in the Settings list, under Create New Tag, enter a unique name for the tag and select Save. The new tag appears under Settings > User Tags. Select the tag and select the corresponding right arrow icon. CPOE adds the selected tag to Tags Dropdown List and the Tags list. Similarly, you can add tags from Settings > Practice Tags to Tags Dropdown List and the Tags list. Note: You must create at least one user tag before you can associate order items to the tag. Rename User Tags

You can rename user tags in the Settings list. Open CPOE. Select Favorites. The FAVORITES list appears displaying the order items that are associated with the selected tags. Note: For more information on associating order items to a tag, see Create a Favorite Order Items List . From the Settings list, select a tag under User Tags. The tag name appears in Edit Tag. Select Edit Tag, enter a new name for the tag and select Save. The new tag name appears under Settings > User Tags. Select Order Items from Favorites

You can select laboratory, diagnostic, and immunization order items from a customizable favorites list. Note: For more information on the favorites list, see Create a Favorite Order Items List. Open CPOE. On the CPOE Order Search Bar, select Favorites. The FAVORITES list appears displaying the order items that are associated with the selected tags. You can select multiple tags from the Tags list. Select the performing entities for Laboratory Performing Entity and Diagnostic Performing Entity from the Performing Entity list. In the FAVORITES window, select an order item. The order details appear. For more information on order details, see Managing Order Details. You can set a default filter to the FAVORITES list to view the most frequently used order items. Open CPOE. Select Favorites. The FAVORITES list appears displaying the order items that are associated with the selected tags. Note: For more information on creating a tag and associating order items to it, see Create User Tags and Create a Favoite Order Item List. In Settings > Tags Dropdown List > Default, select the check box next to the tag. Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) adds the selected tags to the FAVORITES list. You can create a favorites list for your frequently ordered items. Open CPOE. In the COMMON ORDERS or SEARCH RESULTS list, hover over an order item, and then select the ellipses icon. The Favorites pane appears. Select the tags to associate with the order item and select Save. CPOE adds the order item to the selected tags. Create User Tags You can create a user tag and associate it with a favorites list. Rename User Tags You can rename user tags if there are multiple tags with similar names.
