Display the Full History of a Problem

You can view the full history of an active or resolved problem. Select an active or resolved problem in the display area of the Problems module. Do one of the following: Right-click the problem, and select View History. On the toolbar of the problem data entry area, select View History. The Problem History window opens. Do one of the following: Scroll from left to right to see all columns in the window. Expand the window to display all columns. Problem History From a column heading, select the Pin button to set the column in a Pinned or Unpinned position. Note: If a column is Unpinned, drag and drop that column anywhere in the display grid. If a column is pinned, you cannot move that column, and the column appears only in the position it was assigned in the Column Preferences window. Set Column Preferences for Problem Notes Window

To view the list of settings for the columns, select the Preferences button in the Problem Notes window. Select or clear the applicable columns to view or hide them in the Problem Notes window. Set Columns to Display To specify which columns to view in the Problems Notes window and their display order: Select Set Columns to Display. The View Preferences window opens. To add a column, select the column name in the Available Columns list, and then select Add. To add all columns, select Add All. To remove a column, select the column name in the Display these fields in this order list, and then select Remove. To remove all columns, select Remove All. To set the display order of a column, select the column name, and then select Move Up or Move Down. The order of columns from top to bottom is the order that the columns appear from left to right in the Problem Notes window. Select OK. Problem List Columns

You can select the columns you want to view in the problem list. You can change the display order of a column and specify how you want to view the contents of a column. You can pin columns so that their position is static. A pinned column appears in the position you assign in the View Preferences window. Each column heading also has an up arrow and down arrow to control whether the column content lists in ascending or descending order respectively. For example, if the Onset Date column heading displays a down arrow, the problems with the most recent onset date appear at the top of the column and the problems with the oldest onset date appear at the bottom of the column. Customize the Problem List Columns

Open the Problems Module. To view a list of settings for the problem list, select Preferences on the problem list toolbar. Select or clear the applicable check boxes. Set Columns to Display To determine which columns to view in the problem list and their display order: Select Set Columns to Display. The View Preferences window opens. Open the Problem Notes

Add notes to a problem in Problems module in the Problem Notes window. The View/Add Notes button enables you to view or add notes to a problem in the Problems module. Select the patient's encounter that contains the problem. Select the problem in the Problem List. Do one of the following: Right-click the problem, and then select View/Add Notes. On the problem list data entry area toolbar, select View/Add Notes. The Problem Notes window opens. Problem Notes Set Column Preferences for Problem Notes Window Set the display preferences of columns in the Problem Notes window. Add a Problem Note Add relevant information about a problem as a note in the patient chart. Update a Problem Note Edit the problem note or add more information in the Problem Notes window. Select the patient's encounter that contains the problem. Select a problem in the Problem List. Do one of the following: Right-click the problem, and then select View/Add Notes. On the toolbar of the Problem data entry area, select View/Add Notes. The Problem Notes window displays the existing notes.
