Option	Description
Patient	Displays all unresolved diagnoses on the patient's chart.
This Order	Displays the diagnosis codes associated with the selected order.
Search All	Displays the Diagnosis window, which enables you to search and select a diagnosis.
Check Today's	Displays the diagnosis from today's encounter
Check Chronic	Displays all chronic conditions
Check All	Checks all unresolved diagnoses
Uncheck All	Removes all unresolved diagnoses from the order.

Search for a Diagnosis

If "third party" is the billing type, a diagnosis must be identified. Select an unresolved diagnosis that is on the patient's chart. To search for a diagnosis that is not in the list at the top, do the following: In the Diagnosis section of the Lab Order Test window, select Search All. The Diagnosis window opens. Select to select the appropriate search criteria. Select Search. From the list, select the applicable diagnosis and select OK. The diagnosis displays in the Diagnosis section of the order creation or update window. Note: To remove a diagnosis from the diagnosis list, select to uncheck the diagnosis in the Select Diagnosis pane, and it is removed from the order. Parent topic: Select Diagnosis Panel

Select Diagnosis Panel

In the Select Diagnosis panel of the Select Tests tab, you can select one or more diagnoses to be associated with the tests ordered. The list of diagnoses is pulled from the patient's chart. Select Diagnosis Data

Select Diagnosis from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to display the Diagnosis Search window. Diagnosis Search Select the pertinent Library. To further narrow your search, select the Category. Select whether you wish to search by ICD or Dx Code. Enter a Diagnosis search criterion. Note: Make sure to use the proper ICD Code for your search. If your Practice is using the decimal ICD Code, make sure to enter the ".". Select Search. Select the desired Diagnoses. Select OK. The selected diagnoses display in the Diagnosis Search pane. Select whether to Include or Exclude the displayed diagnoses. Select whether to display patients who have had problems within specific date criteria, for example: Patients who have never had the problem before or after a specific date or between a specific date range. Patients who have ever had a problem before or after a specific date. Patients who have not had this problem since a specific date. To select a date range, check Who Have Eve

Select an Ordering Diagnosis as a Treating Diagnosis

When a patient comes to you for therapy, they may have one or more ordering diagnoses already added. Based on your assessment, you determine the treating diagnoses to support the patient’s need for therapy. You can select from the existing ordering diagnoses or select additional ones that better reflect the specific diagnoses related to therapy treatment. Expand the Assessment panel. Ordering Dx lists the diagnoses that were added on the NTS Homepage template. Under Ordering Dx, review the ordering diagnoses to determine which ones should be included as treating diagnoses. Select an ordering diagnosis, and then select the right arrow to move it to the Treating Dx list. Treating Dx displays the diagnosis. The diagnosis remains visible in the Ordering Dx list. Problem List Data Entry Area Toolbar

The problem list data entry area toolbar is located at the top of the data entry area and below the data display area. The data entry area toolbar buttons enable you to perform functions related to a patient's problems such as add, recode, and modify the problems. Re-Code a Patient Problem in the Problem List Resolve an Active Problem Set a selected active problem to the resolved state and provide details such as the Resolved Date, Resolved By, and Resolved Reason. Mark a Problem as Chronic Mark recurring or long-standing problems as chronic. Mark a Problem as Comorbid Mark co-occuring problems as comorbid. Problem List

The top half of the Problem List tab displays all the problems in a patient's chart. You can modify certain details associated with each problem. The patient's problems appear based on their statuses in a tree-view format. The problems are categorized as active, inactive, recurrence, relapse, remission and resolved. You can expand or collapse the tree view using the and buttons. Problem List Problem List Toolbar The problem list toolbar displays options to modify the list of problems. Problem List Columns Select the problem list columns to display the details of the problems. Filtering Problems in the Problem List Set a criteria for the problems displayed in the problem list. Ungroup and Group the Problems in the Problem List You can group problems in the problem list according to the preferred description, and also ungroup them when required.
