Build a Complex Logical Group for a Report

If it is necessary to build a complex logical group, move the group up. Report Filter Select the created group, filters, and move them down. Select AND/OR clause from the list. Report Filter Select View Result. Diagnosis Search Select Close. You have built a complex logical group for a report that displays all patients who have a specific diagnosis OR had a specific procedure performed and were prescribed a specific medication. Selecting Data and Generating Reports

You can select and filter various types of data to create your custom reports, including Clinical data (allergy, diagnosis, medication, procedure), Orders data (such as lab results), Templates data, and Patient data. You can select data to generate more complex reports, such as logical groups and stored procedures. For additional informational and for presentation purposes, you can select options on the Report Filter Settings List such as Sorting and Totals. Once the data is selected, you can generate the report. CAUTION: Selecting OK on the Report Filter generates the report. Therefore, when navigating between different modules or options when creating a report, do not select OK from the Report Filter window until you have selected all filters, data, report display options, and columns. Configure the Reason Types for Groups and Options

You can configure a guideline for a patient using the reason types on the Care Guidelines Manage Reason Groups template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From File, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. On the Practice tab, select the All option. Select Care Guideline Setup, and then select OK. The Care Guideline Setup practice template opens. Expand the Manage Groups and Options panel, and then select the reason type link. The Care Guidelines Manage Reason Groups template opens. cg_manage_reason_groups_template Select a reason type, and then enter a reason group name. Note: For the Allergy/Intolerance reason type, you can configure the reaction by selecting the required option in the Allergy/Intolerance Reaction Configuration section. For the Laboratory reason type, you can configure the results based on Specific Value or Range of Values with the minimum and maximum values in the Laboratory - Reference Range Configuration section. Create Diagnosis Groups

You can create diagnosis groups, which are used on medical record templates for documenting patient's assessment. On the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template, expand the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel. Enter the diagnosis group name and description in their corresponding fields in the Add Diagnosis Group section. Select one of the following options for age group. Adult/All. Select this option if the diagnosis to be added is for adult patients. Peds. Select this option if the diagnosis to be added is for pediatric patients. Select the Active checkbox. Select Add/Update. Generate Reports of All Patients Due for Selected Clinical Guidelines

This report provides a list of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines. This report needs to be run at the Enterprise level. To create this report, you would filter the data by accessing the following modules or options from the Report Filter Settings List: Select Stored Procedure check box and then select “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. Filter the report data. Filter the patient demographics (for example, gender, race), using the Patient option. Filter the Care Guideline fields using the individual columns. Generate and Save the System Reports

System Reports are pre-configured filters that are available to run and generate reports based on the job type category. After generating a system report, you can customize the report by modifying the pre-configured filter and display options, and save your report. Open NextGen® Mobile Cloud Portal. Select a clinic you want to work with. Select Jobs Tracking. You can select the Image Only and Chat Upload Jobs and Charge Capture Jobs tabs to generate the corresponding job reports. The Jobs Tracking window opens displaying the Dictation Jobs tab by default. In Saved Reports, select System Reports.System Reports opens. System Reports tab Select a filter to generate the report.The Report Results table opens displaying the corresponding jobs.
