Generate the End of Day Prescriptions Report

From the File menu, select Reports > Crystal Reports. The Report Dialog window opens. Report Dialog Select the plus sign next to the All encounters for All Patient type to view all of the reports assigned to this type. Select the End of Day Prescriptions report. Report Dialog The details of the report appear at the bottom of the window. To preview the report select Preview. To print the report, select Print. The Enter Parameter Values window opens. End of Day Reporting - Ohio Board of Pharmacy Requirement

If you are a provider in the State of Ohio, you are required to run the End of Day Report by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. To comply with this requirement, you must generate the report and save it. Note: If you are utilizing biometric signature capabilities in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you must print and sign Prescription and Immunization End-of-Day reports to maintain compliance with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy positive ID requirements. Set Up a Report

Select Report Setup on the Report Dialog window. The Report Setup Dialog window opens. Select a report from the Report File list. Note: Only reports in the directory specified in the Universal Preferences appear. Select a report type from Report Type list. Selecting a Report Type assigns the report to the report type. Select Location for your report. Only providers at the selected location can access this report. If you leave Location blank, providers from all locations are able to access this report. From the Printer list, select a printer to print the selected report. If necessary, select the Filter By option. If necessary, select the Use Report Server check box. Note: To use this feature you must have the NextGen Report Server configured. Enter a user-defined description for the selected report in the Description field. Set Up the Report Path for SAP® Crystal Reports®

In order to print a SAP® Crystal Reports® you must have one or more specific reports set up through the Crystal Report application and assigned to a printer. For test orders, you can create a report for the current encounter for the current patient. Make sure that you have the System Administrator setting for Reports defined. Selecte System Administrator > View > Universal Preferences. The Preferences window opens. Select Reports. Make sure the paths are defined. Select OK to save the value. User-defined reports are saved in the appropriate directory for easy access at a later time. After you have created the reports that you need, select which reports you want to use for each testing entity in File Maintenance > Practice Preferences > Orders module > Reports. Access Crystal Reports

Once the reports are copied, you can access them to begin the set up process. From the Main menu, select File > Reports > Crystal Reports. The Report Dialog window opens. From this dialog you are able to set up your SAP® Crystal Reports® and printers, as well as generate and print the following report types: This Encounter for current patient- Only for the current encounter for the selected patient. All Encounters for current patient- For all of the encounters for the selected patient. All Encounters for all patients- For all of the encounters for all of the patients in the database. Generate and Print SAP Crystal Reports

After you set up a report, you can generate and print or fax a SAP Crystal Reports. When you generate a report, you can do any of the following: Print Preview Fax Save to Chart NextGen® Enterprise EHR can store patient chart items (Documents, Images, Notes, Report, and so on) in multiple locations. If enabled, this functionality allows you to store items from the patient chart in separate directories that are automatically separated by date. Note: If you enable Multiple Storage Locations support for Patient Chart Items, the setting automatically overrides the directory setting for the type of an item specified in the Universal Preferences.
