SAP Crystal Reports for NextGen® Enterprise EHR

NextGen® Enterprise EHR includes a set of all standard SAP Crystal Reports. The files reside in the Distributed Reports folder on your server and must be copied to your designated folders in your NextGenRoot folder when upgrading to NextGen Enterprise 5.6 or higher.

All EHR Crystal Reports have the new rebranded NextGen logo except for the e-requests and claims.

The Ohio RxPrint report in the state specific report and the new consolidated report has the new logo. The standard header and footer on all reports have the new logo.

NextGen® Enterprise EHR includes the following SAP Crystal Reports:

ReportDescription
MedicationsThese reports include standard prescription reports (RxPrint and RxFax), electronically transmitted prescriptions for controlled substances (ePCS), auditing reports, and other reports to meet clinical reporting needs.
NextGen® PxP PortalThese reports display how many actions are occurring in NextGen® PxP Portal.
OrdersThese reports include information related to lab orders, lab order results, generic lab requisitions, and immunizations. ImmunizationsThese reports include information related to Immunizations, such as a patient's Immunizations summary (high-level and detail). PatientsThese reports provide specific information about patient activity, enabling you to determine tasking and follow-up actions. For example, the Open Telephone Calls report.
Meaningful UseThese reports help you demonstrate Meaningful Use and earn incentive payments.
Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT)To comply with requirements of the CCHIT Certification, NextGen® Enterprise EHR provides you with patient chart and security auditing capability through the CCHIT reports.
Provider Approval Queue (PAQ)The PAQ report helps you to review the Provider Approval Queue. You can filter the report by System, Enterprise, or Practice. The report includes information about the PAQ items, the provider, the user who signed off and when they signed off, the PAQ status, and other information. The report displays the new rebranded logo.
TaskingThe Tasking report helps you to review the status of tasks in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You can filter the report by System, Enterprise, or Practice. The report includes information about the task type, the sender, recipient name and workgroup, the time the task was sent, accepted, or denied, and the task status. The report displays the new rebranded logo.
Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)The PDMP report helps you track the providers who view a patient's prescription drug monitoring report prior to prescribing a controlled substance.
Consent PolicyThe Consent Policy report helps you to indicate whether a patient’s PHI should be shared with an external system. A NextGen® Enterprise EHR user can view the consent for a patient by launching the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Consent module from within a patient’s chart.

The report includes consent policy details with the practice name and the consent status.

The consent status includes:
  • Share. Share the consent information of the patient with the external system.
  • Do not Share. Do not share the consent information of the patient with the external system.
  • Unknown. Status is unknown.
PCMH Tracking ReportThe PCMH Standards SAP® Crystal Report® is a regulatory report that can assist you to track lab, radiology and referral orders that require follow-up. You can choose to run the report for one of the following three types of orders: Referral Tracking, Lab Tracking, and Radiology Tracking.

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you need to set up the report to run only for All encounters for all patients.

You can also generate the report with or without details through the Show Details field.

The report contains:

  • Standard header format with Report Title, Date (or Date Range of the Data), and Practice Name.
  • Standard footer format with Print Date, Page Number in X of Y format, NextGen® Logo, and Copyright.
