Release an Order

  1. Open your custom practice template with an Orders Management order control.
  2. On the Filters bar, select Due.
    The Orders Management grid for the Due filter opens.
  3. Select the row for each order to release.
  4. On the Due filter Top toolbar, do one of the following:
    • Select Release.
    • To select additional actions to perform with the release, select the appropriate option from the Release list.
    The Release Order window displays the order (or orders) with the options to Send and Print.

  5. To update an order before it is released, select Update Requisition.
    A green check mark appears to the left of the order on the Release Order window. Then the Update Order window opens.

    Enter the required changes.

  6. To send an order, select the Send check box.
  7. To print the order to your default printer, select the Print check box.
  8. Select Process.
    The Batch Release window opens, displaying the order description and the action in progress.

    When the action is processed, the window shows the status and displays a message showing whether the action was successfully completed. Counts of all processed actions and those that were successful or failed appear at the bottom of the window.

  9. If the release failed, to process one order select the order and select Retry; to reprocess all orders, select Retry All.
  10. To print the release order results, select Print.
