Fax Formatted Results
On the Orders Summary tab, select an order. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select Fax on the Results toolbar. The Send Fax window opens. Enter the To/From details and a Fax number and select Fax. The formatted results are faxed to the defined fax number. Note: The resulting Fax document must fit an 8.5-inch wide paper size so it may look slightly different from how it appears in the Formatted Results tab. Parent topic: Formatted Results Tab

Display Test Order Results in a Formatted View
On the Orders Summary tab select a completed test. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select the Formatted Results tab at the bottom of the Results panel. The results appear with the patient detail at the bottom of the Results panel. To print these details, select Print on the toolbar. Note: If you update a patient's demographic information in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Modify/Update Patient Information window, before you log out of the current session of NextGen® Enterprise EHR, this change may not be reflected in the patient's demographic information in Formatted Results. To display the updated demographic information on the Formatted Results tab, log out or exit NextGen® Enterprise EHR; and then log back on. Parent topic: Formatted Results Tab

Resize Results for Printing
The output size of the formatted results may be too wide to print on your printer. You can resize the information to fit on your printer's page using print options. On the Orders Summary tab, select an order. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow. Select Print Options from the Print list. The Print/Results Options window opens. Select the Print Options tab. Auto Width is selected by default. Select the Custom Width option. Use the slider bars to set the parameters for the printed pages. To preview the document print width, select Preview. To cancel your selections, select Cancel. To accept the header options, select Accept. Parent topic: Print Formatted Results

Display Test Results in a Grid Format
On the Orders Summary tab, select a completed test order. To expand the Results panel, select the down arrow Select the Grid Results tab. Formatted Results Tab
The Formatted Results tab provides the following toolbar options. Option Description Show Normal (N) Results Flag When selected, normal results are marked with a flag. Show compressed results When selected, additional information appears such as LOINC code, performing entity, medical director or specimen. MU Compatible Make the format of the results Meaningful Use (MU) compatible. Refresh Refresh the results display. Print Print the order results. A print preview is available. Fax Fax results to the selected phone number. Full Screen Toggles full screen mode on and off. Copy Copies selected text. Select All Selects all text shown in the results. Setup Sets up critical range results. Patient Portal Sends lab results to NextGen Enterprise Patient Portal. Note: This button only appears if your practice has enabled the NextGen Patient Portal function. Open the Results Panel
