Perform Actions for a Section in Custom View

In Custom View of CDA Viewer, you can use the controls in each section heading to perform actions for that section. Controls to Perform Actions for a Section To expand a section, select , or to collapse a section, select . If the text Showing: All (<number> of <number>) is blue and underlined, select this text to choose among available filters for the section. Depending on the type of data, one of the following types of filters appears: Date range Active status Administered or ordered status To send the section as a task to a provider, select the tasking Tasking icon. To add comments to the section, select the comment Comment icon. To perform one-click reconciliation for the section, select the import Import icon. Within each section in Custom View of CDA Viewer, you can use the icons in a certain row to perform actions on that row. Sign off on a C-CDA Document

If a C-CDA document is not signed off and you have permissions to sign off on C-CDA documents, the Sign-Off (Sign-off) icon appears at the top of the Custom View or Full View. When you review and sign off on a document that has a filter applied, you are signing off on the whole document and not just the filtered data. Therefore, ensure that you review the whole document before you sign off on it. Open the C-CDA document that you want to sign off. On the Full View or Full View, select Sign-Off (Sign-off). Location of Sign-Off Icon Note: When you point to the icon, the tool tip Sign-off (Current Status: Pending) appears. The Sign-Off - HIE Document window appears. Signing off on C-CDA Documents

You can sign off C-CDA documents from the CDA Viewer without using the PAQ module. If you have necessary permissions to sign off C-CDA documents from the CDA Viewer, the Sign-off button appears in the upper right of Custom View and Full View. For more information about permissions required to sign off C-CDA documents, see Prerequisites for Signing off on C-CDA Documents from the CDA Viewer. This feature is available only when you access the CDA Viewer from the following places in NextGen® Enterprise EHR: The Categories tab The Clinical Reconciliation module Note: The Sign-off button is disabled if the selected C-CDA document has bypassed PAQ. View Document Level Comments

If a document contains comments, the Comments Icon with Red Mark (Comments) icon with a read mark is displayed at the top of the following views: Custom View Full View A saved filtered view At the top of the Custom View, Full View, or a saved filtered view of a C-CDA document, select Comments Icon with Red Mark (Comments). The Document Comments window appears. Document Comments Window To group the comments by section names, select Group By Section Name. The comments are grouped by section names. By default, the Document Comments window displays the comments entered when signing off on the document. To hide the sign-off comments, clear Show Sign-Off Comments.
