Patient Savings Programs Eligibility Response Time

If you want to have more time for the system to receive an eligibility response for Patient Savings Programs before a medication is sent to a pharmacy, you can set the response time for the Send button. It increases the chances to review the program information and select the Patient Savings Programs.

When the time is set and you select the Send button, the system waits for the specified amount of time for a patient savings program offer to appear. If the offer appears but the provider has not responded to it, the system prompts you to respond. The Send Prescription window only opens in one of the following situations:
  • The provider takes action on the available Patient Savings Programs.
  • The provider does not take action on the available programs within the defined time. The system cancels the patient savings eligibility request and continues the send process.
