In
NextGen® Enterprise EHR Appointments Quick Button, you can view five future and 10 past appointments for a selected patient by default. You can view up to 15 future and 15 past appointments based on configuration. The
Appointments table provides information on the following:
- Appointment date and time
- Status (Kept, Chart Complete, No Show)
- Provider/Resource name
- Provider's location
- Reason for appointment
The count appearing on the Appointments
button indicates the total number of future appointments scheduled for a patient in the enterprise regardless of configurations. The
icon indicates that the patient does not have any scheduled future appointments.
If the scheduling source is
View by Provider, the count indicates only the appointments created in
NextGen® Enterprise EHR. If the scheduling source is
View by Resource, the count indicates only the appointments created in
NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Note: The appointments' count is not available for external practice management systems.
