Provider must be at a practice that is licensed with NextGen Virtual Visits™.
Patient must be an existing patient and already scheduled for a virtual visit.
Patient must be checked into NextGen Virtual Visits™ before the provider or the provider's staff.
Ensure that the Send HTML document for mobile integration option is enabled in the Virtual Visits portal for the Virtual Visit link to appear in Encounter History.
You must enable and configure NextGen Virtual Visits™ in File Maintenance.

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient scheduled for a virtual visit.
On the Top Toolbar, select Inbox.
The Workflow module opens.
On the Appointments tab, double-click the virtual visit appointment in the appointment list.
Note: When the patient has checked in for virtual visit, the Status displays KEPT.
The Virtual Visit link is enabled on the Encounter History tab once the patient has checked in and is ready for their virtual visit, and an encounter is created with time and date stamp. When enabled, the virtual visit displays the Join Virtual Visit tool tip.
To open the NextGen Virtual Visits™, do one of the following:
Select Virtual Visit on the Encounter History tab.
Right-click Virtual Visit, copy the link, and open the virtual visit from the browser.
If you open NextGen Virtual Visits™ from remote desktop protocol (RDP), right-click Virtual Visit, copy the link, and open it from the local workspace browser.
Note: You must use Chrome™ or Firefox® as default browsers to open NextGen Virtual Visits™.
