You can modify the data saved to a template if it is not attached to a locked encounter. If the encounter is locked, you can create a new custom encounter, and attach the same template to it to update the information.
- On the Encounter History tab, select the encounter that contains the template you want to update and select the
button.
- Select the template to open it.
- Enter the required modifications.
Note: If you are working with a Group Medical Records template, any modifications you enter and save are committed to all of the charts for patients who are members of the specific patient group.
- Enter Save.
