Medication History Consent

Patients have to provide medication history consent if providers need to view the medications which patients are taking or have taken. If you access a patient's medication history for the first time or if the patient's existing consent has expired, the Medication History Consent window opens for you to submit the patient's medication history consent. Medication History Consent Note: The Patient Medication History details is new for versions 5.9.0 and 5.9.1. Modify Patient's Medication History Consent

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Open Medications module. Do one of the following: Select Medication History. From the Main menu, select Tools > Medication History Consent. The Medication History Consent window opens. Medication History Consent If applicable, modify the following information: Patient's consent response Patient 's consent expiration date Any additional notes Select Accept.
