View Patient Consent History
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Open Medications module. Do one of the following: Select Medication History. From the Main menu, select Tools > Medication History Consent. The Medication History Consent window opens. Medication History Consent Select Show History. Submit Patient's Medication History Consent
Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. Open Medications module. Do one of the following: Select Medication History. From the Main menu, select Tools > Medication History Consent. If the patient has not given consent, the Medication History Consent window opens. Medication History Consent Select one of the following patient's consent response: Has not been requested Yes No Expired Withdrawn Select an expiry date or time period. Medication History Consent In the Memo field, enter notes.The maximum number of characters that you can enter in the Memo field is 255. Select Accept. Parent topic: Medication History Consent

Medication History Consent
Patients have to provide medication history consent if providers need to view the medications which patients are taking or have taken. If you access a patient's medication history for the first time or if the patient's existing consent has expired, the Medication History Consent window opens for you to submit the patient's medication history consent. Medication History Consent Note: The Patient Medication History details is new for versions 5.9.0 and 5.9.1. Submit Patient's Medication History Consent Modify Patient's Medication History Consent You can modify a patient's medication history consent in the Medication History Consent window.
