The Medication tab displays the details of the medication prescribed, including the Potency Code, DEA Schedule, and Dates. The tab displays relevant details in two sub tabs: Prescribed and Dispensed.
- The Potency Code field displays the drug potency unit code description based on the units description.
- The DEA Schedule field displays Schedule (I to V) for controlled substances based on the values in the NCPDP External Code List.
- Non-Scheduled or Not Specified displays when there is no schedule or if the medication is not a controlled substance.
- The Dates field displays the following dates:
- Written
- Last Filled
- Expiration
- Validated
- Delivered
- Period End
- Period End
- Period End
Note: The New eRx Details window displays the Prescribed tab, Written and Last Filled date. The Sold date appears in the Dispensed tab.
