Managing Employer Information

On the Employer tab, you can enter employer information for a person or patient, including the name, address, and phone and fax numbers for the employer. In addition, you can enter the person or patient's occupation and employment status. Information on the Employer tab is stored at the system level; therefore, all practices in all enterprises share the same information for a person or patient. Managing Privacy Information

On the Privacy tab, you can enter information for a patient related to the practice’s HIPAA Privacy Notice. The information is saved for established patients with an existing chart, and for new patients when the chart is created. Information on the Privacy tab is stored at the practice level; therefore, each practice can enter and maintain different information for a patient. Managing Demographic Information

On the Demographics tab, you can enter general information for a person or patient, such as address, demographics, contact phone numbers, contact, insurance, and notification methods for the patient. If your practice is licensed for EDI, the link appears on this window. When you select the link, the EDI Messaging window opens where you can view the patient's notification preferences for balance reminders, appointment reminders, and recall plans. Managing Chart Details

On the Chart Details tab, you can enter additional information for a patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise PM. The tab includes up to 8 user defined fields that can be set up in Practice Preferences and then used to collect patient information that is not already a standard field within the application. The tab also includes default rendering and referring providers, and marketing plan information for the patient. The information is saved for established patients with an existing chart, and for new patients when the chart is created.
