Manage User-Level Configurations of Quick Buttons

Before you begin

Ensure that you have the necessary user-level permissions to view and modify buttons on the Quick Buttons panel.
You can show or hide buttons on the Quick Buttons panel and also re-arrange their sequence to your preference.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. On the Quick Buttons panel, select .
    The My Quick Button Settings window opens.

  3. To add a button to the Quick Buttons panel, select Select Buttons, select the button to add from the list, and then select Apply.
  4. To remove a button on the Quick Buttons panel, do one of the following:
    • Select corresponding to the button to remove, and then select Apply.
    • Select Select Buttons, clear the check box for the button to remove, and then select Apply.
  5. To change the order of the buttons, select and drag the buttons to the preferred location, and select Apply.
  6. To restore the practice preference settings, select Reset to Practice Settings.
