Results Tab in Clinical Reconciliation

The EHR section displays information stored in the patient's chart and the result appears only if it has the result value and the status is final or corrected. The orders are grouped with the order number, encounter date and time and have a two-level hierarchy that is for the panel and the component.

The source is Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) in the EHR section, if you perform any actions like add and replace because these are the records from C-CDA. If you add any results which are of status final or corrected, then the status appears with provider name along with performing entity for source.

The Import section displays information from the selected document and all the results are from C-CDA. Only the final status results appear, and the source appears at the component level. This has a three-level hierarchy that is for the panel, component, and code systems of components. The parent level has a panel name, collection date/time, status, coding information, and user notes. The components has a component name, results, units, reference range, abnormal flags, observation date/time, status, comments, and source. The coding information appears inside each component.

The Reconciliation Summary section displays all the results from the EHR section and if you perform any actions in the Import section. The following performed action status displays with panel name, collection date/time, and status.

  • If you select the action as ignore, then the panel name appears as Unchanged – no action performed.
  • If you select the action as add, then the panel name appears as Add new item.
  • If you select the action as replace, then the Select Existing window opens which displays the C-CDA results. Once you replace, then the panel name appears as Add new item by replacing the existing item.
