Generate Providers Performance Report

In this example, you need to generate a list of patients who have had certain procedures performed during a specific period of time. The patients should be grouped by the provider who performed the procedure. Open the Report Filter. Select Procedure from the Settings List. The Procedure Search window opens. Report Filter Select to display the Procedure Search window. Enter Office in the Description field as a search criterion. Select Search. Select office emergency care from the list. Procedure Search Select OK. The results of the procedure search displays in the Procedure window. Report Filter Note: Ensure the Include option is selected (default). Select the specific date range. Select Template Data

You can select Template Data for a report. Select Templates from the Report Filter Settings List. In the Select Template pane, select the desired template. If necessary, enter the name of a template to search for. Note: The following Care Guideline templates are no longer available for reporting: CARE_GUIDLELINES CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_HISTORY CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_REASONS CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_UPDATE CLINICAL_GUIDELINES To generate a report that lists the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines, run the “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. In the Select Field pane, select all the necessary template fields. From the Latest Value By list, select whether to run the report by Modify, Encounter Date or None. To convert all measurements into numeric values for the report, select the Convert to Numeric check box. To only include items that have data in all pertinent Template Tables, select the All Selected Tables must have a record check box. From the Settings List,

Select Practices (Enterprise-level NextGen® Enterprise EHR Reports Only)

For the Enterprise-Level Reports, you can select the Practices; the data is being pulled from the Practices for your report. Only the Practices that belong to the Enterprise you are logged onto are available for selection. Select Enterprise from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select all the pertinent practices. Note: By default, ONLY the Practices you are logged onto are automatically selected. If necessary, select the appropriate options from the Report Filter Settings List to filter the report data. Select Columns from the Settings List and select the appropriate columns. If necessary, select Sorting or other report display options from the Report Filter. To view the report data in alternate shading, select Alternate Shading. Note: The alternate shading pattern does not display when you print the report. Select Save. Note: Saving the report before generating is optional. To generate the report, select OK. Select Diagnosis Data

Select Diagnosis from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to display the Diagnosis Search window. Diagnosis Search Select the pertinent Library. To further narrow your search, select the Category. Select whether you wish to search by ICD or Dx Code. Enter a Diagnosis search criterion. Note: Make sure to use the proper ICD Code for your search. If your Practice is using the decimal ICD Code, make sure to enter the ".". Select Search. Select the desired Diagnoses. Select OK. The selected diagnoses display in the Diagnosis Search pane. Select whether to Include or Exclude the displayed diagnoses. Generate a Timeline Chart

You can generate a Timeline graph to display data for all order results, medications, diagnoses, and a selected subset of vital signs. You can define the template and field names for the selected vital signs in the Graphing section of Universal Preferences in System Administrator. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen Enterprise. By default, the graph displays the most recent year of data. You can set a specific time range instead. Open the patient to graph a timeline chart for. From the File menu, select Graph and then Timeline. The Graph Timeline Chart tab opens. Note: The graph is always measured and titled as Date & Time vs. Units.
