You can select Template Data for a report. Select Templates from the Report Filter Settings List. In the Select Template pane, select the desired template. If necessary, enter the name of a template to search for. Note: The following Care Guideline templates are no longer available for reporting: CARE_GUIDLELINES CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_HISTORY CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_REASONS CLINICAL_GUIDELINE_UPDATE CLINICAL_GUIDELINES To generate a report that lists the record of all patients (in alphabetical order) due for (selected) clinical guidelines, run the “ngsprep_care_guidelines”. In the Select Field pane, select all the necessary template fields. From the Latest Value By list, select whether to run the report by Modify, Encounter Date or None. To convert all measurements into numeric values for the report, select the Convert to Numeric check box. Select Diagnosis from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to display the Diagnosis Search window. Diagnosis Search Select the pertinent Library. To further narrow your search, select the Category. Select whether you wish to search by ICD or Dx Code. Enter a Diagnosis search criterion. Note: Make sure to use the proper ICD Code for your search. If your Practice is using the decimal ICD Code, make sure to enter the ".". Select Search. Select the desired Diagnoses. Select OK. The selected diagnoses display in the Diagnosis Search pane. Select whether to Include or Exclude the displayed diagnoses. Select whether to display patients who have had problems within specific date criteria, for example: Patients who have never had the problem before or after a specific date or between a specific date range. Patients who have ever had a problem before or after a specific date. Patients who have not had this problem since a specific date. To select a date range, check Who Have EveSelect Diagnosis Data

You can document the historical vital signs for a patient. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient's record, and then open an encounter. On Top Toolbar, select Templates . The Select Template window opens. Open the Intake template. Expand the Vital Signs panel and select Add. The age-specific vital signs template opens. Document the patient's recorded historical vital signs. In Weight measurement, document the patient's weight in the lb and kg fields within the 4.409 – 1543.3 lb or 2.00 – 699.99 kg range. Note: An alert message appears if the value entered is not within the range. In Blood Pressure and pulse, document the patient's Systolic and Diastolic readings within the 0 – 399 range, and then document the patient's pulse rate within the 10 – 499 range. You can generate a Timeline graph to display data for all order results, medications, diagnoses, and a selected subset of vital signs. You can define the template and field names for the selected vital signs in the Graphing section of Universal Preferences in System Administrator. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest System Administrator Guide for NextGen Enterprise. By default, the graph displays the most recent year of data. You can set a specific time range instead. Open the patient to graph a timeline chart for. From the File menu, select Graph and then Timeline. The Graph Timeline Chart tab opens. Note: The graph is always measured and titled as Date & Time vs. Units. Select the check box for each item to graph from the following tabs. You can display data concurrently. The information is graphed as soon as you make a selection. Order Results. Open the Report Filter. Select the Report data (for example, Diagnosis data for patients with hypertension over 60 years of age). Filter the data you need in the specific report using the columns and sorting functions. Note: Additional columns display for the specific report data you have selected. Change the display options, if needed. For example, create a header and footer. Select Save. Note: Saving the report before generating is optional. To generate the report, select OK.
