Generate a Diagnosis Report

In this example, you need to generate a report for all patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes and who have blood pressure greater than 140/90 in a period of one year.

  1. Open the Report Filter.
  2. Select Diagnosis from the Settings List.
    The Diagnosis window opens.
  3. Select to display the Diagnosis Search window.
  4. Enter the ICD code 250 in the field.

    1. Select Search.
      The list of diagnoses appears.

    2. Select diabetes mellitus diagnosis description.
    3. Select OK.
      The Diagnosis Search window displays the results in the search pane.

  5. To select the vital signs, select Templates.
    1. Enter vital in the Search Template Name field.
      The templates appear.
    2. Select vital_signs in the Select Template field.
      The specific vital signs templates appear.

    3. From the Select Field pane, select the specific Vital Sign Templates. For this example, select:
      • Vital_signs_.create_timestamp
      • Vital_signs_.bp_diastolic
      • Vital_signs_.bp_systolic
  6. To find the patients with the specified blood pressure readings, further filter the data by selecting Filter. The vital signs you selected appear.
    1. Select the date range for the specific year.
    2. For the diastolic reading, select "Greater Than" from the list and enter "90" in the Add Item field.
    3. For the systolic reading, select "Greater Than" from the list and enter "140" in the Add Item field.

  7. To select the columns to display on the report, select Columns and check the appropriate columns, including the vital signs.

  8. To generate the report, select OK.
