Import a Dictionary

Before you begin Ensure that the dictionary file that you want to import is accessible on your local computer or network. When you import a dictionary file, you can either merge it with your dictionary or replace your existing dictionary. Access NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the main menu, select Tools, and then select Preferences. The Preferences window appears. Under Spell Check, select Spell Check Options. The Spell Check Options window appears. Select the User Dictionary tab. Under User Dictionary Import/Export, do one of the following: Select Merge with your existing user dictionary, to merge the imported dictionary with your existing user dictionary,. Edit a User Dictionary

You can add or remove words from the user dictionary. Access NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the main menu, select Tools, and then select Preferences. The Preferences window appears. Under Spell Check, select Spell Check Options. The Spell Check Options window appears. Select the User Dictionary tab. Under Edit User Dictionary, perform any one of the following: To add a word to the user dictionary, enter the word and select Add Word. Add words to a Dictionary

You can prevent spell checker from marking certain words as misspelled by adding them to the dictionary. On the text that you entered, right-click the word underlined in red, and then select Add to Dictionary. The word is added to the dictionary and the red underline is removed. Configure the Spell Check

You can configure general settings for the spelling checker. Access NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the main menu, select Tools, and then select Preferences. The Preferences window appears. Under Spell Check, select Spell Check Options. The Spell Check Options window appears. On the General tab, under Correction Criteria, either clear or select any of the following correction criteria: Ignore words in UPPERCASE. Ignore words that contain numbers. Ignore Internet addresses. Ignore Email addresses. Flag repeated words. Ignore uppercase and lowercase. Under Dictionaries in Use, select the dictionaries that you want to include. Select OK. Set up Spell Checker Preferences

In the User Settings section, set your preferences for the spell checker and default layout view of TX Text documents. For the TX Text Viewer only, you can set up the default view for how your TX Text documents display in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the User Settings section, select one of the following view options from the Default TX Text View list: Normal View Page Layout View Word Wrap View Note: Normal View is the default. Export Statements to an ASCII File

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Select File > Print Forms > Statements. The Statement Options window opens. You can also export statements to an ASCII file on the following: You can export an individual account statement on the Guarantor Statement window. You can export an individual patient statement on the Patient Statement window. You can export batch budget statements on the Budget Statement Generation window. To create an export file, select Export. The Save As window opens. Browse to the appropriate directory folder to save the export file. Enter a name for the export file in the File name field. Select text files (*.txt) in the Save as type field. To save changes and close the window, select Save. Note: You must send the export file to the third-party vendor for processing.
