Before you begin
Ensure that the dictionary file that you want to import is accessible on your local computer or network.
When you import a dictionary file, you can either merge it with your dictionary or replace your existing dictionary.
- Access NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- From the main menu, select Tools, and then select Preferences.
The
Preferences window appears.
- Under Spell Check, select Spell Check Options.
The
Spell Check Options window appears.
- Select the User Dictionary tab.
- Under User Dictionary Import/Export, do one of the following:
- Select Merge with your existing user dictionary, to merge the imported dictionary with your existing user dictionary,.
- Select Replace your existing user dictionary, to replace your existing user dictionary.
- Select Import User Dictionary.
