The RxPrint and RxFax reports include information, in accordance with DEA mandates, to increase the safety and effectiveness of electronic transmissions of controlled substance prescriptions.
These reports display the following information when you print or fax a controlled substance prescription based on the following conditions:
- If you refax or reprint an electronic prescription for a controlled substance, a COPY NOT FOR DISPENSING watermark is shown on the report.
- If the electronic transmission for the prescription fails, the following occurs:
- A message displays that the transmission failed
- On the report or the fax, a section displaying the original electronic transmission information, including the date and time the prescription was sent, name of the pharmacy and the pharmacy address displays for the sender's information.
- If the electronic transmission for the prescription fails and is then resent, a message that the transmission failed; the original electronic transmission information, and the COPY NOT FOR DISPENSING watermark is shown on the report or fax.
