Field	Considerations
Start Date	Default date is set as One Month from Current Date. If you need to generate a report for a date range other than the default date (One Month from Current Date), manually enter another date in the Start Date: Enter Value field in the indicated format (YYYY-MM-DD). Note: If you manually enter the date, this date will override One Month from Current Date field. See the following screen examples (Examples 1 and 2). For presentation purposes, if you are using a date other than the default (One Month from Current Date), you can clear the default text by selecting the ellipses from the list.
End Date	Default date is set as Current Date If you need to generate the report for a date range other than the default date (Current Date), manually enter another date in the End Date: Enter Value field in the indicated date format (YYYY-MM-DD). Note: If you manually enter the date, this date will override the Current Date field. See the following screen examples (Examples 1 and 2). For presentation purposes, if you are using a date other than the default date (Current Date), you can clear the default text by selecting the ellipses from the list.
Select User: Selected Values	This field is dynamically populated. Only users that have sent controlled prescriptions electronically are displayed. Select the user you wish to view on the report.

Enter Person Number: Available Values	Default value is set as All Patients
Enter Person Number: Enter a Value	If you enter a person number in this field, and do not wish to see "All Patients" on the report, remove "All Patients" from the Selected Values: Patients field.
Enter Values: Patients	Default value is set as All Patients To remove a name or value from this field, select Remove or Remove All.
Enter Medication Name: Available Values	Default value is set as All Medications This field enables you to perform a search for specific medications using * as a wildcard.
Enter Medication Name: Enter a Value	If you enter a specific medication name in this field, and do not wish to include "All Medications" on the report, remove "All Medications" from the Selected Values: Medications field.
Selected Values: Medications	Default value is set as All Medications To remove a medication or value from this field, select Remove or Remove All.

ePCS Auditable Events Report Considerations

When you generate the ePCS Auditable Events report using the Enter Values window, see the following considerations. Note: There are no default values for these fields. Select Medication Data

Select Medication from the Report Filter Settings List. Report Filter Select to prompt the Medication Search window. Medication Search Select the type of search: DEA Class, Class or Name. Enter the search criteria. Select whether to include Generics and/or Retired medications. Clear the Active Medication check box if you wish to include all available medications. Select Search. Select the desired medications. Select OK. The medications display in Medication Search pane on the Medications window. Report Filter Select whether to Include or Exclude displayed medications. Select whether to display only the patients Who Have Never Had or Who Have Ever Had before or after a specific date or between a specific date range or Who Have Not Had Since a specific date. Filter Displayed Guidelines Using Additional Filters

You can filter the display in a number of ways on the Care Guidelines Paged View template. You can filter a guideline from the available guideline using the Additional filters. The Additional filters can be used to refine the search using all the filter check boxes. Care Guidelines Paged View Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Additional field, and select choices from the list. To search for a guideline, do one of the following: Select <free text search>, and enter the initial characters of the name of the guideline. Note: You must enter a minimum of three characters to enable the search. To enable filter based search based on the selected filter categories next to the Show selected, select Current filters. Based on the existing selections for Orderables, Recommended care (medication), and Recommended care (non-medication), the result appears. Appointment Lookup Search Criteria

The following table describes the fields that are available in the Search Criteria section of the Appointment Lookup window: Field Description Last You must enter the patient's last name. First/Preferred You must enter the patient's first name or preferred name. Middle You must enter the patient's middle name. Suffix You must select the patient's last name suffix. Note: This field appears when you select the Include suffix on lookup screens option in the General tab of the Practice Preferences window. Add a Patient to the Appointment Wait List

When a patient wants an appointment time that is not available, you can add the patient to the appointment wait list. Perform an Appointment Search Ahead to find an appointment time that is an acceptable alternative time for the patient. Schedule an interim appointment for the patient at that time. On the Appointment Search Ahead window, select the Wait List button. The Patient Wait List Item window opens. Select a value for the information for the Event and Duration fields. Select the location in the Service Location field, if applicable. Select the High Priority option if this Wait List item is to take precedence. Select the resource(s) in the Resource field. Note: In the Date/Time Range section, limit the range in these fields as much as possible to narrow the scope of the search. Otherwise, once you run the wait list process, your results may be excessive in number.
