Enter Imprivata Confirm ID Two-Factor Authentication Credentials for ePCS

If your ePCS authentication is set up to Imprivata Confirm ID, on the Send Prescription window, the Authentication Required to Sign Controlled Substances section displays the Imprivata logo and authentication panel. Imprivata Confirm ID requires two-factors of credentialing for successful authentication. The first factor options are fingerprint, OTP (one-time-password) token, and password. The second factor is always Imprivata ID code, which is OTP.

  1. Enter the first factor authentication option.
    The authentication section updates with the second factor authentication option.

  2. Enter the Imprivata ID code and then select the adjacent arrow.
    After your identity has been authenticated, the Send button becomes available to submit the prescription electronically.
